2019 The Start
Camp10 Gardens Inc. was founded in 2019 by Jeffrey Behnke, a lifelong nature enthusiast and advocate for environmental conservation. The organization began as a small community project with the goal of creating a pollinator habitat and native plant garden on a piece of land in Oconto County, Wisconsin.

2019 - Turning Soil
After clearing the land, the next step was to turn the soil and prepare it for planting. This involved a lot of hard work, including tilling the soil, removing rocks and debris, and adding compost and other organic matter to improve soil health. The process was physically demanding but also incredibly rewarding, as we could see the transformation of the land taking shape before our eyes.
